Welcome to the 2026 New Mexico Senior Olympics Volunteer Registration Site for the State Summer Games, happening in Las Cruces, NM (June 17th - 21st)

(After registering for 2026) returning volunteers will be able to log in using their email and password to make any changes. 

With 600-800 athletes expected from all over New Mexico and neighboring states, 350+ volunteers will be needed to make this event a huge success.

When: Athlete Competition is June 17th-21st.   Volunteers will have shifts to select from both in preparation for The State Games (starting as early as June 12th) and during Game Week Monday-Sunday June 15th-21st.

NMSO is looking for energetic, dedicated individuals to volunteer for the 2026 State Summer Games. Las Cruces will host approximately 800 athletes, ages 50+, to compete in 22 competition sports.

REQUIREMENTS:
Volunteer shifts typically last 4-5 hours(an AM or PM shift). All game volunteers will be required to attend a Volunteer Orientation. The volunteer orientation will be held at 2 different times to accommodate the working force, dates and times are listed below. All volunteers will receive specific assignments from the Sport Coordinator associated with the sport. Sport Coordinators will require that volunteers make themselves available for training and/or practices before the Games begin. Please sign up for one Orientation Session AND one or more activity shifts.   **Volunteers must be 16+ unless supervised by an adult.**

Volunteer Orientation Dates, Times, & Location:  Both In-person or online (starting June 13th)  

  • June 13th,  Saturday,  10 a.m. Las Cruces Convention Center / online training.
  • June 15th,  Monday,  10 a.m. Las Cruces Convention Center / online training..
